Entry requirements & recommendations for travel to Uganda
Yellow Fever required for entry. Malaria is endemic and antimalarials are essential. Hepatitis A, Typhoid, and Meningococcal vaccines recommended. Rabies worth considering for rural travel or gorilla trekking.

⚠️ Active outbreak — May 2026: Confirmed Bundibugyo Ebola cases have been reported in Uganda linked to the ongoing DRC outbreak. CDC has issued a Level 1 travel notice. Monitor CDC and WHO guidance closely before travel.
