Kazakhstan requires no specific travel vaccines. Hepatitis A and Typhoid are recommended given variable food and water hygiene standards, particularly outside Almaty and Astana. There's no malaria risk in Kazakhstan, which is notable given its proximity to Central Asian countries where limited malaria risk does exist. Tick-borne encephalitis exists in forested areas, relevant for hikers.
